2 Adults, 2 Toddlers Found Dead Inside Manhattan Apartment: Report

NEW YORK – Inside an apartment situated on the Upper West Side, a grim discovery was made as four individuals, including two toddlers, were found stabbed to death in an apparent murder-suicide.

According to WNBC, the scene is at an apartment on West 86th Street, between Riverside Drive and West End Avenue. Authorities were alerted around 3 p.m. Monday, following a wellness check request for the home. The bodies were found when FDNY personnel forcefully gained entry to the dwelling.

Among the deceased were a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, along with a 41-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman.

Three knives were discovered at the scene, WNBC reported.

The dynamics of the relationships between the man, woman, and the two young children remain unclear at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
