Driver Plows SUV Into Illegal Immigrant Workers in ‘Intentional Assault,’ Police Say

Shocking Surveillance Video Shows Man Plowing SUV Into Immigrant Workers At N.C. Walmart

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – The Lincolnton Police Department has released security footage showing an apparent deliberate incident in which a midsize black SUV intentionally struck six suspected illegal immigrant workers at the North Generals Boulevard Walmart store on Sunday at around 1:17 p.m.

The footage captures the SUV’s driver driving over a curb in the parking lot and running into a group of people who seemed to be boarding a bus.

Following the incident, all six migrant workers were taken to Atrium Health Lincoln for medical attention. Their injuries were not life-threatening, as confirmed by the Lincolnton Police Department.

According to the police description, the SUV’s driver is an older white man. Although the incident appears to have been intentional, the motive behind it is still being investigated.
