ST. LOUIS – A couple is facing charges for attempting to entice an 11-year-old girl in University City.

William Burns, 39, and Rachel Burns, 32, have been charged with enticement or attempted enticement of a child. The investigation reveals that YouTuber Alex Rosen, posing as an 11-year-old girl online, had been engaging in conversations with both suspects through Facebook Messenger since July 9. Throughout the exchanges, the defendants allegedly discussed love, sex, and the possibility of meeting in person. They even mentioned Rosen staying overnight at their residence.

On Sunday, Rachel Burns went to a residence in the 6300 block of Cabanne to pick up Rosen. However, upon arrival, Rosen promptly contacted the police. Rosen is not affiliated with law enforcement and is part of an online vigilante group called “Predator Poachers.”

Both suspects are in custody with a $250,000 cash-only bond.
