A shooting broke out Sunday at a hookah lounge in south Seattle, where three people were killed, and at least six others sustained injuries.
Authorities have yet to disclose any details regarding potential suspects in the shooting, which occurred during the early hours of Sunday in the Mount Baker neighborhood.
Following numerous 911 calls, law enforcement personnel arrived at the scene around 4:30 a.m.
Among the victims, a 22-year-old man and a 33-year-old man passed away at the scene. Additionally, a 30-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries at Harborview Medical Center. At this time, the identities of the victims have not been released. Among the six injured individuals, a 23-year-old man’s condition is critical, while the remaining five are reported to be in satisfactory condition. Their ages range from 21 to 38, officials said.
The incident is currently under investigation, with authorities working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. At the scene, law enforcement discovered a total of five firearms.
