STOUGHTON, Mass. – The Stoughton Police Department says a woman who had been reported missing for a week was discovered unharmed in a Massachusetts State Park.
Emma Tetewski, 31, was found alive in Borderland State Park, where hikers passing by noticed her stuck in mud. They were unable to reach her on foot and called police.
Responding officers utilized ATVs to successfully free Tetewski from the muddy terrain. Police said she remained conscious and alert throughout the ordeal.
She has been transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Police earlier said Tetewski had a history of mental health issues.
