FLORIDA – According to the Bradenton Police Department, an auto-repair shop in Bradenton experienced the theft of twelve vehicles on Sunday morning. The incident occurred between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. when a group of individuals broke into the shop, stealing keys in the process.
Two of the stolen vehicles were involved in a dramatic crash at approximately 12:20 p.m. The collision took place in the 700 block of 12th Avenue West. One of the cars ignited into flames, while the other overturned after colliding with a residential roof.
A juvenile, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover. The other driver managed to escape from the scene.
Police have successfully located all of the stolen vehicles, including the two involved in the crash. Four teenagers have been charged in connection with the incident, and charges against three additional teenagers are pending.
