SHOCK VIDEO: Tennessee Officer Shoots Suspect As He Fatally Shot Woman On Front Porch

Lebanon, TENN. – Lebanon Police recently released footage captured from a body-worn camera of one of their officers who responded to a distressing situation involving a man who shot and killed his next-door neighbor as the officer tried to calm the situation.

The incident began when officers were dispatched to mediate a dispute between neighbors.

Upon their arrival, they encountered an armed suspect in the front yard. Despite the officers’ commands, the man disregarded them and proceeded towards a woman, brandishing a firearm he had taken from his waistband, and began shooting.

The officer’s body-worn camera recorded the intense moment when he had to take immediate action to protect the woman’s life. Without hesitation, the officer opened fire on the man to prevent him from further endangering the woman.

The suspect was airlifted to a hospital in unknown condition. The woman involved has been identified as 63-year-old Jacqueline Rhodes, according to Lebanon Police.

It was unclear what led up to the fatal dispute. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is conducting an investigation.
