On Tuesday, video footage depicting the brutal stabbing of Phillip Todd, a staffer for GOP Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, in Washington, D.C. back in March was published by the Washington Post. The suspected assailant was identified as Glynn Neal, who had reportedly been recently discharged from federal prison. Neal is accused of stabbing Todd and has an extensive record of serious criminal offenses. Todd’s parents have said the attack was random.
