WASHINGTON – Where was the baggie of coke actually located inside the White House?

According to officials involved in the White House cocaine investigation, new information reveals that the bag of powder was discovered in a cubby near the West Executive entrance of the White House — rather than in the formal West Wing lobby as previously stated.

According to NBC News, investigators anticipate concluding their inquiry over the weekend, contrary to the initial expectation of it taking a couple of weeks.

White House officials clarified that the area where the cocaine was found is near the West Executive entrance, situated between the foyer and a lower-level lobby, near the parking spot for certain vehicles such as the Vice President’s SUV.

This entrance is located one floor below the primary West Wing offices, sharing the same floor as the Situation Room and a dining area.

The White House initially said the coke was found in a West Wing lobby.

“What I wanted to be very clear is that this is a heavily, heavily trafficked, heavily traveled, to be more accurate, area of the campus of the White House,” White House Press Sec. Karine Jean-Pierre said Wednesday. “It is where visitors to the West Wing come through.”

Multiple news outlets have reported the Secret Service does not anticipate identifying the individual who brought the drug into the building.
